Book the pickup
Fo books the carrier to collect your labelled package from your door on the next pickup day.
“I have a prepaid return label on a box. Book the mail carrier to pick it up tomorrow.”
Start the return
Fo starts the return with the store, gets the prepaid label and tells you when to print it.
“Return the shoes I ordered last week and get me a prepaid label.”
Track it after pickup
Fo watches the tracking and tells you when the package is delivered or the return is received.
“Track my return and tell me when the store gets it.”
Chase the refund
Once the return lands, Fo follows up with the store until your refund comes through.
“The store got my return a week ago. Chase them for the refund.”
Fix a missed pickup
If the carrier didn't come, Fo reschedules the pickup and checks why it was missed.
“The carrier didn't pick up my package today. Reschedule it.”
How to schedule a free USPS package pickup
USPS Package Pickup is free. Your carrier collects packages that already have postage during their regular delivery, on the next delivery day or a day you choose.
- Check the package qualifies: Priority Mail, Priority Mail Express, Ground Advantage, or a return with a prepaid label.
- International packages qualify only if the label, customs form and postage were done online.
- Schedule the pickup on usps.com with your address, the number of packages and where you'll leave them.
- Leave the packages where you said, before your carrier's usual delivery time on the pickup day.
- Need a specific time? Pickup on Demand gives a two-hour window, but it charges a fee per trip.
